New Ram Truck Ad Celebrates the Bonds of Loyalty

Hi, I’m Betty Carrier Newman. I know – three names! Just who does she think she is? I’m a native Michigander; therefore, I love all things outdoors, like hiking and off-roading. I work in Communications with the Digital Media team. Some days I produce video shoots, write scripts, voice and edit video for features to post to our corporate and social media sites. Other times I’m strategizing with the brands I support – Ram, Jeep and Corporate – to come up with attention-grabbing ways to tell their unique stories. Then there’s the travel - to places like Moab, Utah, and the Rubicon Trail in California - to shoot (and enjoy) awesome off-road adventure that I then turn into exciting videos to post on our sites. Routine? Definitely not in my world! Challenges, creativity, cool cars and trucks, exciting places – yeah, they’re in there! Oh, the three names? In an earlier life I was hired as the first major-market female TV co-anchor for the NBC affiliate in Detroit – Channel 4. My name was Betty Carrier back then – until I married and added the ‘Newman.’ That’s my story and, yes, I’m really enjoying my FCA ride!
