Truck Thursday: ‘Top 10’ honors for the 2019 Ram 1500

WardsAuto editors made it official on October 2, 2018, when the 2019 Ram 1500 was named to the publication’s 10 Best User Experience List.

WardsAuto editors put 25 vehicles through an extensive user experience. The all-new Ram 1500 emerged a ‘Top 10’ in user friendliness, infotainment features, sound systems, vehicle connectivity, driver assistance technology, information and displays, system compatibility, voice control, materials and overall value.

“The all-new 2019 Ram 1500 was designed to be the most technologically advanced pickup ever …,” said Jim Morrison, Head of Ram Brand. That includes the new state-of-the-art, fourth-generation Uconnect system with class-exclusive, 12-inch reconfigurable touchscreen display, Sirius XM with 360L, a Harman Kardon audio system with 19 premium speakers, a nav system that accommodates one-step voice-controlled destination entry and 3-D navigation map graphics.

A 360-degree Surround View Camera system is an added feature this year on the Ram 1500 that gives both driver and passengers a bird’s-eye view of everything immediately around the vehicle via four cameras positioned around the vehicle.
