Family time fun with minivans and superheroes

Summertime is prime family fun time.

This includes new adventures with the “extraordinarily talented” Parr family in Disney/Pixar’s “Incredibles 2,” which opens in theaters June 15.

The Chrysler brand knows quite a bit about family fun – it was a guiding force during the development of the award-winning Chrysler Pacifica minivan.

So it’s a natural pairing of Chrysler to help promote the arrival of “Incredibles 2” and for the Parr family, along with “supers” fashion designer Edna Mode, to be part of the “Incredible Sales Event” campaign for the Pacifica minivan.

Three 30-second spots have Edna Mode pointing out key features in the Chrysler Pacifica, including the Stow ‘n Go seats, Stow ‘n Vac vacuum and flip-up 10-inch HD touchscreens in the Uconnect Theater – all important parts of a kid-friendly road trip plan.

Here are the “Incredible Sales Event” spots:

Don’t be fooled – plenty of us “big kids” look forward to seeing the new adventures of the Parr family and their “supers” partners. Guess that will make this an “incredible” summer.

Do you know your blood type? Mine is 100 octane (not your standard blood bank classification). At any given moment, I’m thinking about cars – driving one, fixing one, buying one or (in my dreams) restoring one. So I love to tell stories that involve horsepower, brake and wheel diameters and 0-to-60 times – and the people who make it happen. Because behind every awesome vehicle are amazing people with vision and the desire to make it a reality. I cover Mopar, Dodge, SRT and motorsports for Stellantis Digital Media. I learned to drive on a 1973 Jeep CJ-5 with the rare Super Jeep option package and three-speed manual transmission. I still belong to the dwindling club of people who prefer to shift their own gears, and think the best way to drive is with the top down!
