Bring on the Heat!

As temperatures and wind chills remain near record lows across the country, getting you and your family into a vehicle on a snowy, blustery day is challenging.

Even on the best winter days, cold seats and a cold steering wheel just add another shock to your commute. And I think we all agree it’s no fun scraping off that thin layer of ice and frost that seems to stick to the windows like glue! Not to mention that once you’re inside your vehicle, you have to get out again to scrape the side view mirrors you forgot or liberate the frozen windshield wipers.

But winter weather does not have to be so chilling, thanks to convenient technologies such as remote start and heated seats, steering wheels and mirrors.

With remote start, you and the kiddos never have to get into a cold vehicle again. Simply start your vehicle before you head out the door and enter your personal, frost-free zone of warmth. Once inside, you won’t have to hop out again with available heated side view mirrors and a heated washer system.

Just know that once you activate the heated seats and steering wheel, the pull is strong to stay inside your vehicle a little longer to listen to the end of your favorite song or podcast.

Also, new for 2018 on select FCA vehicles is the SiriusXM Guardian connected services.  The new service delivers advanced in-vehicle connectivity and useful apps for drivers and passengers, including the ability to start your vehicle from virtually anywhere via the web or a smartphone app.

Don’t let winter weather keep you in hibernation!  All of these technologies are standard or available in a package on all Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep® and Ram vehicles or available aftermarket via Mopar.
