Take a Hike! FCA US Celebrates Its Trails for National Trails Day

The FCA US headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan, is not only the home to the design, research and development of award-winning cars, trucks and SUVs, it’s also home to an extensive landscape of wetlands and wildlife just outside the doors.

When the Chrysler Technology Center (CTC) was built in 1991, the construction plan called for protecting the wetlands and wildlife located on the property.

Today, that natural habitat is thriving and our employees are taking advantage of the natural landscape by hiking along the nearly five miles of trails located on our property. The trails wind through a Great Blue Heron rookery, a pollinator garden, a bat conservation habitat, a Monarch butterfly sanctuary and more.

While our employees can be found walking the CTC trails every day, the American Hiking Society has set aside Saturday, June 3 as National Trails Day to encourage people everywhere to hit the trail, make new friends and find an adventure. So why not follow our lead by getting outside and taking a hike?
