Jeep® Compass puts a premium on classic Jeep design, capability

It hasn’t hit North American dealerships yet, but the all-new 2017 Jeep Compass has already carved out a unique niche in both the Jeep brand lineup and the rapidly expanding global C-SUV segment.

Sized for that ‘sweet spot’ between the small B-segment Jeep Renegade and the mid-size Jeep Cherokee, the 2017 Jeep Compass takes classic Jeep styling cues up another notch and wraps this upscale look and feel around best-in-class performance and capability.

The best of both worlds! On-road comfort and refinement, but the assurance that this all-new Jeep Compass is ready for action when the road turns rough and tumble.

The 2017 Jeep Compass will start rolling out to North American dealerships soon, but you can checkout more about this newest member of the Jeep family in action during a recent ride and drive event in San Antonio, Texas.

Hi, I’m Betty Carrier Newman. I know – three names! Just who does she think she is? I’m a native Michigander; therefore, I love all things outdoors, like hiking and off-roading. I work in Communications with the Digital Media team. Some days I produce video shoots, write scripts, voice and edit video for features to post to our corporate and social media sites. Other times I’m strategizing with the brands I support – Ram, Jeep and Corporate – to come up with attention-grabbing ways to tell their unique stories. Then there’s the travel - to places like Moab, Utah, and the Rubicon Trail in California - to shoot (and enjoy) awesome off-road adventure that I then turn into exciting videos to post on our sites. Routine? Definitely not in my world! Challenges, creativity, cool cars and trucks, exciting places – yeah, they’re in there! Oh, the three names? In an earlier life I was hired as the first major-market female TV co-anchor for the NBC affiliate in Detroit – Channel 4. My name was Betty Carrier back then – until I married and added the ‘Newman.’ That’s my story and, yes, I’m really enjoying my FCA ride!
