Finish your 2017 travel plans with these events

In addition to heart-thumping horsepower, head-turning style, rugged capability and captivating interiors, our vehicles offer a special something else: bonds that unite us all.

There’s barely a weekend that goes by without a car show, race or other event that draws together owners who share a passion for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Truck, FIAT and Alfa Romeo. Or, even Plymouth, Hudson and DeSoto, and other heritage brands.

As Mopar celebrates its 80th year in 2017, there will be plenty of opportunities to gather with your fellow Mopar-or-no-car enthusiasts throughout the year. We have just a relative few below, with links for more details. While many are club activities (membership is required for many activities), often the car shows are open to the public.

If you know of other events in your area, please leave a comment below so the rest of us can fill up our event calendar.

Thanks for stopping by. I lead the corporate social media efforts for FCA US, which means I oversee things like content, community management, outreach, monitoring and most anything else that comes with social media management. Being a lifelong metro Toledo, Ohio, resident, the passion for Jeep® has always been evident. Since joining FCA in late 2010, it’s been inspiring to get a first-hand view of that same level of passion for our all of the company’s vehicles, past and present. It’s that kind of true Mopar-or-no-car spirit that reminds me every day that FCA doesn’t simply make cars and trucks, we make vehicles that develop community among its owners. And that’s what I try to portray in the corporate social voice.
