FCA US LLC Née Chrysler Group LLC

fcablogStarting today the company known as Chrysler Group LLC  has a new name: FCA US LLC.  It’s all part of the changes underway since our parent company, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles came into being in October.

When you see or hear news stories about us, we’ll be properly called FCA US LLC the first time our name appears in the story, but it’s OK if the reporter calls us FCA US on subsequent references.

FCA US LLC covers the company’s operations in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico as well as our activities in international markets. Really, nothing is changing from the operations side. You may see an executive mentioned with FCA North America on the end of his or her title. That’s because the executive’s responsibilities extend only to North America as opposed to another region or company-wide. It also lets you know that despite the formal name of the company being FCA US, the executive’s responsibilities extend across the entire continent.

Most of our corporate websites have also changed their names.

This blog is now at https://blog.fcanorthamerica.com
Our corporate website is http://www.fcanorthamerica.com
ChryslerOnDemand is now http://www.fcacod.com
The corporate site online magazine FCA360 is available at http://360.fcanorthamerica.com
Media can find its resources at http://media.fcanorthamerica.com

While the old URLs will still work for awhile, it’s a good idea to bookmark the new ones so you’re not disappointed when they disappear in the coming months.

What aren’t changing are our strong, historic brands. Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Mopar, Fiat, Alfa Romeo are still the brands that define our great cars, trucks, parts and services. We as a company are as loyal to them as you have been.

When you think about it, when someone changes their name from Smith to Jones for personal or professional reasons, they’re still the same person. The change just makes sense for them.  In that vein, our commitment to quality, style, performance and service hasn’t changed, we just have a new name to reflect our role in our new company, and that makes sense.
